Sixtus Iwuoha
Sixtus is a Senior Associate and complex commercial litigator representing clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including shipping and international trade, energy and natural resources, intellectual property and labour and employment. In particular, he is a trial generalist who efficiently delivers results across a variety of commercial practice areas in his more than 10-year career. In 2018, Sixtus was seconded to the International Arbitration Group of Magic Circle law firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, London under the International Lawyers For Africa (“ILFA”) Secondment Programme.
Sixtus brings his strategic insights and breath of legal knowledge to bear in representing emerging and established companies at various levels of court, arbitral and administrative tribunals in all stages of dispute avoidance and resolution, from pre-trial advising through adversarial trials and appeals. He is equally adept at pre-trial negotiations which sometimes lead to an amicable settlement as he is at trial and arbitral proceedings.
